Volunteers from the Otter Rock community keep the community center and grounds clean and maintained.  For example, volunteers like Paul Erskine, Dale Powers and Wendy Ware keep the lawn mowed.

Clean-up events occur periodically throughout the year, bringing members of the community together to do various tasks such as washing windows and floors, painting the interior rooms and tending to the landscaping.

Volunteers also help with some special projects for the district.  For example, Mark Beckwith cleared english ivy from trees at the tank farm.
